Switch-cabinet coolers

ritter & bader cooling systems

SWITCH-CABINET COOLERS

With the packaging density of electrical and electronic components increasing more and more, cooling switchboards is also becoming more and more important. ritter & bader offers a range of systems to air-condition switch cabinets.

Cooling and air-conditioning devices may also be an option if self-sufficient solutions with a lower performance are required, with a coolant circuit that guarantees the required cooling for the evaporator.

Ready-to-install devices need only be connected to the power supply; inset fans ensure the necessary air circulation inside the cabinet. The interior and exterior air circulation is separated; there is no exchange between the two. If there will always be a temperature gradient between the temperature inside the switch cabinet and the ambient temperature, an air-to-air cooler may be a very economical cooling option, which can deliver heat via the heat exchanger without any exchange with the ambient air.

This kind of cooling device by ritter & bader provides different options for connecting to and integrating into the cabinet, including external mounting, partially integrated, and fully integrated, and mounted on either the side, doors or top.

Air-water heat exchangers provide a highly effective solution. These are operated with cool or cold water that flows through a heat exchanger and picks up heat from the air (fans). There are different versions for mounting and integrating, providing very consistent temperatures by regulating the air quantity or the water-flow quantity. Components in the base of the switch cabinet have also proven to be very advantageous thanks to the low risk of water damage.

Another advantage of air-water heat exchangers is the possibility of recovering heat.
